The Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act (Uniform Act) applies to all acquisitions of real property or displacements of persons resulting from Federal or federally-assisted programs where new rights of way are being purchased for public projects. The Uniform Act provides the regulations that must be followed by public agencies building public projects. It must also be followed by those impacted by public projects. The Owner Forum is a place for those facing the loss of property, place of business, or place of residency due to a public project and the government’s purchase of new right of way for a public project. They can get answers and directions from our professional members to issues they face for a smoother process and more successful outcome.

The Right of Way Community (ROW-C) provides a community-driven question-and-answer (Q&A) service that allows members to submit questions to be answered and to answer member questions. It also provides organized storage and sharing of valuable information and documents relevant to the industry and retrievable for member usage.
